FINALISTS TOP LEGAL AWARDS 2023: LGV AVVOCATI CONFIRMED AMONG ITALIAN EXCELLENCE IN THE IP SECTOR

The list of the finalists that have been selected for the 17th edition of the TopLegal Awards is now available. LGV Avvocati has been selected also this year among the finalist firms in the IP area of the 2023 edition, confirming itself among the most valuable Italian firms in the field of intellectual property. Among the finalists is also Mrs. Simona Lavagnini, who has already received a first prize in 2008 (at the first edition of the TopLegal Awards), and a second prize in 2019 as „Professional of the year: Trademark and copyright.“

We are delighted to announce that LGV Avvocati has once again been honoured at the Managing IP EMEA Awards 2023!
Our professionals return from the London gala night of yesterday, June 21st, with two prestigious recognitions: LGV won in the categories “Italy Copyright & Design Firm of the Year” and “Impact Case of the Year”, for the lawsuit brought by Universal, Warner and Sony against the American multinational Cloudflare.

 


FONDAZIONE FORENSE DI MONZA: MRS. SIMONA LAVAGNINI AND MR. TANKRED THIEM WILL SPEAK AT THE CONFERENCE “THE NEW PATENT SYSTEM: THE EUROPEAN PATENT WITH UNITARY EFFECT AND THE UNIFIED PATENT COURT” ON JUNE 23RD, 2023

We are pleased to inform you that, on June 23rd, Mrs. Lavagnini and Mr. Thiem – partners of LGV Avvocati – will intervene as speakers at the conference “The new patent system: the European Patent with unitary effect and the Unified Patent Court”, organised at the Conference Hall of the Fondazione Forense di Monza, located in Via Mantegazza no. 5, Monza.

 

The session will cover topics of particular relevance, such as the new substantive and procedural law and the role of the Technical Judge in the new patent system.
The event will take place from 2.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m., and it will be possible to attend in person, at the Conference Hall of the Fondazione Forense di Monza or, alternatively, as a “webinar” through the Zoom Meeting platform. The conference is accredited by the Monza Bar Association with 2 training credits in civil law and will require registration via the SFERA portal – by selecting the chosen modality for the course – or via email (for any members of the Bar Association who do not use Sfera).
